PTSA Board
The PTSA supports every teacher, every student and every parent of Folsom High School. Our mission is to enhance the total scholastic experience for students and to support parents and teachers in their work with our students.
The PTSA Board consists of 9 officers and 11 Standing Committee Chairs. In addition, 3 students serve as Board representatives for their respective sophomore, junior and senior classes. All meetings are open to the public. To reach us, see the section on Contact Us.
Folsom High Athletic Boosters (FHSAB)
The FHSAB work hard to support the 16 sports and 850+ students at Folsom High School. FHS athletes compete in the Delta River League at the Division I level. This is the top division in one of the toughest leagues in the Sac-Joaquin Section. Parental support of our student athletes is critical to their success. The Music Boosters
The Folsom High School Music Boosters support the Marching Band, the Color Guard, the Jazz Band, the Jazz Choir, the Orchestra, Symphony and Concert Bands and provide assistance to the Middle School music programs. DART (Design and Restructure Team)
DART enables a diverse decision making body (parents, staff, administration and students) to work toward common visions and act as an agent of change when core school decisions are involved. From initiating dress codes, to establishing new conduct guidelines at dances, DART is a clearinghouse for many school issues which are absent from other organization’s agendas. School Site Council
This Council, comprised of staff members, parents, administrators and students meets once a month to discuss the allocation of funds, school issues and write a school plan. For more information please contact Sherrie Graston, sgraston@fcusd.org.
Team 2008
This team of teachers, district administrators, parents and community leaders promote student achievement by planning special events in the early spring to encourage students to do their best on the STAR tests. For information, contact Sherrie Graston, sgraston@fcusd.org.

Awards/Thank you
The outstanding achievements of the Folsom High community are always an inspiration.

The orientation for incoming Folsom High freshmen is a huge task. This year, almost 400 incoming freshman participated in the fun and educational Link Crew orientation.
Special thanks to these incredible people who made this such a successful day.
Janice Johnson – Link Crew Coordinator
82 Link Crew Students and Link Crew A-Team – Appointed by Teacher referral, these students work hard to provide our freshman with ongoing support. Cassaundra Williams- photographer throughout Orientation. FHS Administration – Provided water, Facilities coordination. Support Counselors – Introduced themselves and made themselves available during the tour. Custodial Staff who set up Gym, made sure classrooms were open, and clean up. Greg Crannell – Activities Director. Attendance, Counseling and Administration Office Staff. Kathryn Allaman – Administrator who spoke during the assembly. PTSA who helped to underwrite the cost of the Link Crew T-shirts.
Every year, as part of our professional accountability, our PTSA submits our financial records to a professional accountant for meticulous review. Thank you to Darla Colson, MST, CPA of Gilbert Associates, Inc. (www.gilbertcpa.com.) for donating her professional services and helping us to maintain our high level of financial accountability.
The website requires constant updating. Thank you to Emily Moore, who maintained our site and is now training Debbie Sultan who is the new Website/Newsletter chair.
